As Founders Associate Commercial, you’ll work side-by-side with our founders and commercial leads on the front line of scaling a global B2B marketplace. You’ll connect strategy with execution, dive deep into commercial analytics, and ensure the smooth operations that drive our growth. About the role
As Founders Associate Commercial, you will be the right hand to our founders and commercial leads - operating at the intersection of data, operations, and customer engagement. You’ll help us plan our commercial months, understand where we stand against our goals, uncover bottlenecks, and identify our best-performing customer segments. You’ll translate insights into action and make sure our sellers and buyers are set up for success every day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial Operations & Analytics: Support planning, forecasting, and revenue tracking; prepare key reports and identify improvement levers
- Customer Insights: Analyze customer cohorts, identify top performers, and uncover where engagement needs to improve
- Analytics: Develop ad-hoc analyses and dashboards to drive better decision-making across the commercial team
- Supply & Demand Matching: Help tailor supply-demand pairings based on customer needs and performance data
- Day-to-Day Support: Assist in operational tasks such as managing customer assets (e.g. product imagery) and collaborating closely with high-profile clients
You’ll be a connector across the commercial team - ensuring alignment between founders, sales, and operations - and contributing to the business’ heartbeat every day.
About you
You’re a smart, analytical, and hands-on operator who loves solving commercial puzzles and getting things done. You thrive in fast-paced environments, can handle ambiguity, and are motivated by impact.
Must-haves:
- Bachelor’s degree or strong academic background in Business, Economics, or a related field
- First experience (internship or working student) in a startup (Seed/Series A), VC, or consulting environment
- Strong analytical and operational mindset - you’re fluent in Excel/Sheets and comfortable working with data
- Entrepreneurial drive and hands-on attitude - you don’t wait to be told what to do
- Excellent English skills; German is a nice-to-have
Nice to have:
- Experience with CRM or operations tools such as Airtable, HubSpot, or similar
- Exposure to B2B marketplaces, retail, or (e-)commerce environments
